I've had the pleasure of working with Bill twice! First in 2019 when Bill helped us find the perfect starter condo for us, and again in 2021 when he helped us sell that same condo and purchase our first house! He is excellent. This review is long overdue for Bill Milbourn, who sold 2 of our homes and helped us find our current home. I generally believe that good customer service is a basic expectation when you hire a real estate agent, but Bill always went above and beyond the call of duty to answer our questions, listen to our concerns, and get us the best deal possible. It was more like a partnership with substantial give and take on both sides. I called and texted Bill various times throughout our 2 year partnership with questions and he always responded within 30 minutes regardless of the day or time. When he sold our first home, the city required face to face meetings to discuss various repairs that needed to be made before we could sell the house. It was difficult for me because I had just started a new job, so Bill made several phone calls and was able to convince them that he was a competent substitute on my behalf. He also waited for the inspector to come by and approve all necessary repairs. The first 2 offers fell through, but Bill was always optimistic and held an open house 2 or 3 times a week until it sold. When he sold our second home, he was just as persistent and held an open house multiple times a week. While it was on the market, we received an offer to temporarily rent our home to a third party, but we were out of the country at the time. Bill contacted us and sent us the contract to review and approve. He brokered the deal and made it happen! It was a deal that really only benefitted us, not Bill, but he still helped us by taking on the additional work and becoming the liaison while we were out of town. Over the course of a year and several open homes, we finally found our dream home. It took many offers and counter-offers because the house needed repairs and we relied heavily on Bill's negotiating skills. It took a couple of months, but he was finally able to get us the price and credits that we were happy with. We totally trust that Bill had our best interest at heart and was the best person to represent us to buyers and sellers. He made it easy for us because we only had to attend a few meetings. We strongly recommend Bill to anyone who is looking to buy or sell their home. He is a strong, competent, and experienced real estate agent. We really enjoyed working with him.
